Dr. Nora Ovtcharova is a licensed naturopathic doctor through the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She received her degree attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto after completing her Honours Bachelor of Science at McMaster University.
Currently, Dr. Nora Ovtcharova maintains a general family practice with special focus in digestive concerns and how it relates to the mental and emotional realm. She has gained additional training in Holistic Counselling and Mental Health and Addiction. She strongly believes in empowering people to make positive life-long impact on their health, always striving to address the root cause of illness, while honouring each individual's unique and diverse experience.
She has sought any opportunity to give back to the community. She has traveled to remote villages in Haiti and Nicaragua as a medical volunteer. Meanwhile, she is active in her community by providing acupuncture at women's shelter. Dr. Nora enjoys walking outdoors, hiking, biking, and camping. She speaks fluently in Bulgarian and English.
